The Sun Valley/Ketchum Chamber and Visitor’s Bureau (SVKCVB) is enticing skiers and visitors to the Sun Valley area to take advantage of their Jump into January promotion running January 2nd-31st, 2008.

The ski and stay packages begin at $240 per person and include two nights lodging and two days of skiing or snowboarding. In addition, children 15 years and younger ski free with the purchase of an adult lift ticket.

“January is a great time of year to visit the Sun Valley/Ketchum area”, said Carrie Westergard, Marketing Director of the SVKCVB “The skiing can’t be compared.”

January 19th Free Nordic Ski Day/Free Nordic Ski Lessons at Galena Lodge

January 20th-21st Full Moon Dinners at Galena Lodge. Enjoy a hearty meal and ski under the full moon.

January 26th Billy Goat Loppett. 10km, 5km, and 1.5km skate ski race for all levels.

January 26th Ski the Rails Nordic-ski the Wood River Trail from Ketchum to Hailey.
